Why Japati?
The traditional way to deliver news across network is by email but it's not the right protocol to deliver news because it can be failed to be delivered once user crowded with so many information in one mailbox.
Few details of why email should not be the primary news broadcasting protocol:
- Importance Issue
Users sometimes not immediately aware for high priority news that should be read once it delivered, this could be happened because users must first open their email client. Japati News System standby after windows started and can bring the news by OSD (On Screen Display) to immediately showing certain news. - Storage / Space Issue
News delivered via email are stored in Mail Inbox, sure will need a lot of storage to store every email for every user. Japati News System store every news content centralized on the server which makes no duplicate content. - Protocol Issue
Email is a two-way comm. protocol between a sender and a recipient, but is occasionally forced into a one-way comm. with a do not reply label. Even so, users would sometimes want to discuss or comment the news such as add new information, correct mistakes, ask about missing content or collaborate with current information. - Japati supports news commenting, users can discuss or put some comments about news directly to the content without bothering news poster or another users which generally by email someone needs to ask if he/she wants to be added or removed from the email thread
- Keeps with actual Information
Every news has time to rise and expire, with Japati it could be specified by setting up news show time and news expire time. By doing this we will get 2 benefits: news poster won't need to control message visibility and users will always have actual information
